Hypertension, most commonly referred to as "high blood pressure", HTN or HPN, is a medical condition in which the blood pressure is chronically elevated. It was previously referred to as arterial hypertension, but in current usage, the word "hypertension" without a qualifier normally refers to arterial hypertension.

Natural Hypertensive Remedies to Lower Blood Pressure

There are many safe, less costly and worthwhile substances to use in place of drugs. For example, one of the most ideal natural hypertensive remedies is magnesium. The ability of magnesium to relax the arterial wall muscles allows the artery to widen which lessons the blood flow pressure. This will work for virtually all people. Another of the key benefits of the use of the magnesium ion is that it stimulates frequent bowel movements, due to the effect it has on the gastrointestinal tract. To maintain blood pressure control using magnesium, a 1000 mg. dose should be used daily.

Living in an area of the world such as the equator allows for people to get more sunlight, and thereby receive extra ultraviolet light. Exposure to ultraviolet light will lower blood pressure and alleviate hypertension. The vitamin D produced by the ultraviolet light benefits by decreasing the powerful substance renin. The overabundance of renin creates constriction of blood vessels, thickening of heart muscle and blood vessel walls, excess adrenaline, and permits the kidneys to retain salt. Each of these reactions can cause high blood pressure. Since vitamin D decreases renin output, these hypertension problems are relieved.

By the use of natural hypertensive remedies such as vitamin D, significant success is achieved in actual hypertension relief. People that maintain high levels of vitamin D virtually always have lower blood pressure. Safe doses of vitamin D need to be regulated, and should not exceed 10,000 units daily. Excessive doses of vitamin D can cause nausea, fatigue, weakness with potential for bone softening, tissue calcium deposits, and kidney damage. The proper monitoring of vitamin D use can be very safe and highly effective. In addition, it is not nearly as expensive as pharmaceutical drugs.

As mentioned above, the sun is the easiest way to get vitamin D. A daily regimen of getting in the sunlight will provide you with the ultraviolet rays needed. And don't use sunscreen or sun glasses. Just don't overdo it. A few minutes of exposure is quite enough.

You can go ahead and take supplements, but completely stay away from the drugs. The magnesium and vitamin D therapy above are a few ways to supplement properly. It is very interesting to note that in both of these natural uses, they are both more effective and infinitely less dangerous than the pharmaceutical drugs. And what is truly amazing is that they are less costly. It just goes to show the massive greed involved in the medical community, and why we should exclusively use natural hypertensive remedies.

As you can tell, I am anti-drug. We put our traditional medical doctors on a pedestal, and take their advice via prescription drugs without questioning why. A little research will lead us to realize that this advice is as close to a death warrant as we will receive. Drugs kill, and prescription drugs kill more than any illegal drug out there. View the link below to find the way to alleviate your hypertension using natural methods, and only use natural hypertensive remedies.
