Have you been looking for a natural remedy for high blood pressure, but getting so much information that you do not know where to turn next? It can be completely confusing to the average person when they begin researching natural alternatives online.

One frustrating part of the process is trying to discuss natural remedies with your doctor. Most doctors had little to no training in nutrition or herbs while in medical school. This leads them to either diminish the research on natural remedies or outright admonish you for even asking them.

In fact, magnesium assists in over 300 processes in your body each day!

Then there is calcium. Most people underestimate the effect that this mineral has on your body in so many ways. Studies that looked at calcium and its effect on blood pressure show that a calcium intake at the recommended level of 1,000 to 1,200 mg/day may be helpful in the prevention and treatment of moderate hypertension.

Some oils are also important for cardiovascular health. Taking fish oil supplementation will not only give you greater mental clarify and help protect against blood clots, but also appears to lower blood pressure very well in those with hypertension.
