0 commentsExercise helps in lowering your blood pressure. But it must be done correctly otherwise it can end up causing you trouble. Hence it is essential that you have a proper high blood pressure exercise plan which will give you maximum benefits.
First things first, before you start on any exercise plan, it is advised to consult your medical practitioner first. He or She will have a better knowledge of your medical condition and will be in a good position to advise you on things you can do and things you should avoid.
Exercising has many benefits including reducing your weight and increasing your overall fitness levels. With all these benefits in mind remember to chalk out a plan which is simple and which you can easily follow. Doing it regularly is the key here.
You can do simple things such as aerobics, walking cycling etc.
Always do warm up and cooling down exercises before and after the end of the session.
Avoid any heavy workouts which will put undue pressure on your heart. Always take it slow and steady.
Regular exercising for 20 minutes for 3-4 times a week is generally recommended for your overall well being.
Avoid exercising on days you are ill or do not feel well. Similarly if you experience any sort of dizziness, pain in the chest or discomfort, stop exercising and if need be consult your doctor immediately.
Also it is important that you actually enjoy your exercise routine. If it is stressing you out further or tiring you out too much, then try to vary or change what you are doing.
Always keep it simple and do it regularly, and you will definitely experience the benefits.
